Training Bursaries to Support Heritage Craft Skills Amongst Black & Ethnically Diverse Groups (UK)

Grants of up to £4,000 are available for under-represented Black and ethnically diverse groups across the UK to support the development of heritage craft skills.

The Heritage Crafts Association’s Training Bursary for Black and Ethnically Diverse Makers seeks to support those who may be starting out on their journey in craft or at the point where they want to turn a hobby into a career, or where they are already a maker who is looking to further develop their heritage craft skills.

The programme could support costs such as training with a craftsperson, specialist training courses, living costs while training with a craftsperson, specialist tools or materials, and books and study materials.

The deadline for applications is 5pm on the 13th December 2021.
