Grants of up to £10,000 are available to local councils, organisations, schools, ex-service organisations and individuals for Armed Forces Day events across the UK.
The Ministry of Defence is providing funding for events such as tea parties, parades, big band concerts, civil war military re-enactments, and live and static demonstrations to be held on or in the weeks around the 25th June 2022.
Funding could be used to cover road closures required to hold an event, decorations, flags and banners, newspaper and radio advertisements, security and first aid arrangements, and PA and communications systems.
Grants can cover up to half the total cost of the event.
The fund will be open to applications from the 1st November 2021 until the 1st March 2022.
