Additional Funding to Support Cultural Artists & Freelancers Most Affected by the Covid-19 Pandemic (UK)

In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, Arts Council England has invested an additional £1.5 million in three benevolent funds to provide immediate support to cultural artists and freelancers most affected by the crisis.

Grants of £1,000 will be available through the Theatre Artists Fund to provide emergency support to freelance professional theatre workers across the UK. The deadline for applications is 12pm on the 10th January 2022.

The second fund, the Help Musicians' Financial Hardship Fund, will support self-employed and unemployed professional musicians.

In addition, a-n The Artists Information Company will receive investment to support artists and other self-employed professionals working in the visual arts, as well as those who support artists with the production of their work and exhibitions. Further details will be available shortly.
