Funding to Support the Third Sector in Improving Mental Health Services (North Cumbria)

Community organisations in north Cumbria can apply for a share of £250,000 in funding to help people with severe mental illness gain better access to services and support.

The funding is made available through the NHS Community Mental Health Transformation Programme, which will award grants of up to £75,000 through three separate funds:

  • the Healthier Lifestyles Fund which will support interventions that target health risks such as smoking, obesity, and frailty;
  • the Positive Changes Fund which will help people who face challenges to access services easily, such as LGBTQ+, refugees, veterans, and ethnically diverse people;
  • and a fund targeting those with eating disorders which is in development.

The fund is administered by the Cumbria Community Foundation.

The closing date for applications is the 6th May 2022.
