Funding to Provide Financial Help to those in Debt & Financial Hardship (North West England)
Registered charities, voluntary and other not-for-profit organisations, and public benefit entities can apply for grants of up to £40,000 to assist people experiencing financial hardship who are unable to meet the cost of water charges.
The United Utilities Trust Fund aims to help people out of water debt, and support local organisations delivering services within the Fund’s geographic area of North West England, who can deliver money and debt advice/financial literacy projects that encourage financial stability and help relieve poverty and hardship.
Match funding is encouraged.
The closing date for stage one applications is the 31st May 2022. Successful applicants at this stage will be invited to submit a full application.
