Funding to Support Blind & Partially Sighted People (UK)

Grants of up to £25,000 are available to improve the capacity and sustainability of sight loss sector organisations in the UK to deliver positive outcomes for blind and partially sighted people

Thomas Pocklington Trust is inviting charitable organisations to submit an application for new and innovative projects that will achieve a positive impact under their strategic priority, “Collaboration and Sustainability”.

The Trust will consider applications in the following areas:

  • Infrastructure and impact – including developing technological capabilities, restructuring reviews, Theory of Change, feasibility studies, partnership working (including resource sharing) and integrations and mergers
  • Insights and research – gaps in data and evidence that can improve knowledge across the sector
  • Innovation Seed Fund – initial funding for ideas and projects which can have a transformative benefit to the lives of blind and partially sighted people

The funding can be used to support costs such as new staff posts, paid training, professional fees, printing, marketing, website design, and capital items such as computers.

The deadline for applications is the 5th February 2023. The fund may close sooner if a high volume of applications is received.
