The Esmée Fairbairn Foundation Launches New Funding Phase (UK)

The Esmée Fairbairn Foundation has launched a new phase of their Collections Fund which supports museums and galleries to use their collections to become relevant and sustainable organisations that are connected to and valued by their communities across the UK.

The Foundation will now award core funding of up to £100,000 over two years to offer organisations greater flexibility to further their progress towards diversity, equity and inclusion, so that work is more embedded and community relationships can be longer-term.

The Foundation is particularly interested in projects that tackle contemporary issues such as wellbeing, decolonisation, climate change and anti-racism.

Approximately twelve projects per year will be supported across two funding phases.

The next deadline for expressions of interest is the 5th April 2023.
