Grants to Improve the Educational Outcomes & Life Chances of Young Carers & Care Experienced Young People (UK)

The British and Foreign Schools Society is inviting proposals to its grant programme to improve the educational outcomes and life chances of Young Carers or Care Experienced Young People under the age of 25 in the UK.

Grants of between £30,000 and £100,000 (maximum £30,000 per year for multiyear projects lasting up to five years) will support schools, academies, colleges and registered charities in the UK to help young people to attend and engage in mainstream school life, access further education, employment or training opportunities, and to improve support for them to remain engaged with these opportunities.

The Society is also keen to receive applications for approaches that seek to directly address the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on these vulnerable young people.

There is a two-stage application process and the deadline for stage one applications is the 13th July 2022.
