Funding to Support Rough Sleepers During the Winter (England)

To provide support for people sleeping rough in England during winter 2021/22, the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government has announced a £3 million grants fund.

The Homelessness Winter Transformation Fund 2021/22 will enable small-to-medium homelessness charities, community and faith groups and voluntary sector organisations to develop accommodation options that are self-contained, Covid-secure and dignified for people sleeping rough.

The Fund will include £1 million of capital and £2 million of revenue funding, and will be managed by Homeless Link in partnership with Housing Justice.

A webinar to set out key information about the fund will be held on the 15th April 2021 with further details made available when the capital grants round opens to applications on the 4th May 2021.
