Funding to Support the Unemployed into Employment, Training or Education (London and South of England)

The Education and Skills Funding Agency and the European Social Fund has launched a new funding round to support local initiatives that will enable economically inactive or unemployed people aged 16 years and over move towards employment, training or education.

Grants of between £5,000 and £20,000 are available through the ESF Community Grants programme to voluntary and third sector organisations and small businesses across three Local Enterprise Partnership areas:

  • London North and East LEP: Barking & Dagenham, Bexley, Bromley, Enfield, Greenwich, Havering, Newham, Redbridge, Waltham Forest
  • Dorset LEP: Dorset, Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch
  • Thames Valley Berkshire LEP: West Berkshire, Reading, Bracknell, Wokingham, Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead

The programme is administered by Groundwork.

The deadline for applications is 9am on the 21st June 2021. Pre-application feedback is possible if submitted by 9am on the 14th June 2021.
