Support for Armed Forces Communities (UK)
The Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust has launched a new funding programme to enable local authorities to continue to help people from Armed Forces communities access services and support in their local areas.
Through the Sustaining Delivery programme, local authorities that received funding under the Strengthening Delivery of the Covenant programme can apply for grants of £25,000 for up to one year:
- continue or finalise project activities;
- and/or to embed the work that was delivered with their initial grant to improve integration and engagement of the Armed Forces Community within the wider community.
Funding could be used to cover costs such as IT, staff, volunteers, costs for storing and transporting items, and overheads.
The deadline for applications is midday on the 11th June 2021.
