Funding to Support Rural Communities and Businesses Affected by the Coronavirus (UK)

The Prince’s Countryside Fund has made grants of up to £2,500 available to charities, community benefit societies and social enterprises that are supporting rural communities, farm businesses and other rural businesses affected by the coronavirus.

Groups can apply for grant funding of up to £2,500 if they:

  • are providing emergency relief to vulnerable or isolated individuals or;
  • are providing support to farmers and farm businesses affected by the Coronavirus pandemic or;
  • are helping rural or farming communities to cope with the Coronavirus pandemic

 A total of £100,000 has been made available to the Fund in the first round and can be used to help with core and running costs, equipment purchase, wage costs, volunteer/fuel/delivery costs, and rural foodbanks and food delivery services etc.

The closing date for applications is 12pm on the 15th April 2020.
