The Major Capital Grants Programme provides substantial grants for major refurbishment projects, extensions, and new builds for rental accommodation aimed at supporting Veterans with housing needs. The grant offers between £75,000 and £500,000 for significant refurbishment projects, with potential grants up to £1 million in exceptional cases. It focuses on creating affordable, energy-efficient housing for Veterans, aligning with the long-term goal of reducing Veteran homelessness.

The Refurbishment Grants Programme provides grants for refurbishing or extending rental accommodations for Veterans, aiming to reduce homelessness and improve living standards. The grant offers up to £75,000 for projects focused on refurbishing existing rental homes for Veterans. It supports projects that ensure homes meet decent living and energy efficiency standards, contributing to reducing Veteran homelessness and rough sleeping.

The Nationwide Foundation aims to increase the availability of good quality, affordable homes in the places where they are most needed.  Through the Community-led housing  programme, the Foundation will support communities to build new homes, create homes from empty properties, protect existing decent, affordable homes and provide homes of all types of tenure.

The Mayor of London's Housing Innovation Fund is available for those using innovative ways to deliver more affordable homes in London. This is part of Homes for Londoners, which brings together the Mayor's work to tackle the housing crisis.  In particular, the Mayor is keen to understand how funding can support community-led housing; offsite and precision manufacturing of homes; and new accommodation for homeless households.

The Trust for London is an independent charitable foundation that aims to tackle poverty and inequality in London.  The Trust does this by funding voluntary and charity groups.  Currently the Trust makes grants totalling around £8 million a year.  Through its Good Homes and Neighbourhoods funding programme aims to ensure that Londoners have access to genuinely affordable housing, which is also good quality and secure and live in communities where people can feel safe and can participate.
