Lincolnshire Community Foundation – Make a Start (Lincolnshire)

The Lincolnshire Community Foundation exists to benefit disadvantaged people and communities by making grants to support relevant charitable, voluntary and community organisations. Through Make a Start (MAST), the Foundation provides small grants of up to £250 to individuals to help them get back to work, into training or education, where funding from a statutory organisation is unobtainable. Applicants should be 16 years or over, and out of work or currently working no more than 16 hours per week. Specific training that will lead directly to available employment or support to become self-employed will be considered.

The National Lottery Community Fund - Building Better Opportunities (England)

The National Lottery Community Fund is matching funds from the European Social Fund (ESF) 2014-2020 to provide joint investment in local projects tackling the root causes of poverty, promoting social inclusion and driving local jobs and growth. The National Lottery Community Fund expect the funding to be delivered in 38 Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) areas according to local priorities, which have been set by the LEPs, and will support projects ranging from improving employability for the most disadvantaged, helping those with multiple and complex needs, to improving financial literacy.
