The aim is to enable the planting of hundreds of thousands of trees by community groups across the UK. |

The Tree Council - National Highways 3 Million Trees Project (England) The Tree Council is helping National Highways plant 3 million trees by 2030 by gifting up to 600,000 trees to communities across England annually. The initiative aims to benefit both nature and communities through low carbon tree planting. A selection of tree species, with orders of between 2,500 to 50,000 whips available to a wide range of applicants, including charities, farms, education institutions and more. |

The National Lottery Community Fund - Community Power Programme (England) The Community Power programme is a £100 million, 10-year fund aimed at giving local communities more influence and control over places they live, services they use, and decisions that affect their lives. It is providing up to £1.2 million in funding for 10-15 partner organisations in a one-year development phase from spring 2025 to spring 2026 to test approaches for increasing community power before launching the broader programme. |

The Stobart Group - Stobart Sustainability Fund (UK) The Stobart Sustainability Fund supports community-led environmental and sustainability projects across the UK. It focuses on initiatives addressing climate change, reducing carbon emissions, and protecting the environment. The fund is open to not-for-profit organisations, community groups and educational facilities, such as schools and colleges. |

Bupa Foundation - Green Community Grants (UK) The Bupa Foundation's Green Community Grants programme support projects that positively impact local communities and the environment. The programme aims to make local communities greener and empower schools and charities to implement their green ideas. Priority will be given to regenerating green spaces for community use, particularly in disadvantaged areas. Previously supported projects have included outdoor classrooms, sensory gardens, community allotments, and green space improvements.Eligible applicants include schools, charities and community groups across the UK. |

Aviva - Save Our Wild Isles Community Fund A total of £1 million is available to support community groups and schools in deprived areas of the UK to protect and restore nature in their local area. The Save Our Wild Isles Community Fund is a crowdfunding initiative that will give £2 for every £1 raised by each project. A wide range of nature projects can be supported. This can include restoring and protecting local habitats, promoting pro-environmental behaviours at the community level and connecting local communities to nature and each other. Applications can be made at any time until all funding has been allocated. |

International Tree Foundation - UK Community Tree Planting Programme (UK) The International Tree Foundation (ITF) was founded in Kenya in 1924 as ‘Watu wa Miti’ (People of the Trees), by Richard St Barbe Baker and 50 volunteers. ITF’s mission is to plant, protect and promote trees in partnership with local communities. The UK Community Tree Planting Programme aims to support community projects that will: Create and conserve indigenous trees and woodlands, forests, habitats and associated biodiversity; Foster community engagement in tree planting to promote reforestation and to increase awareness of the importance of trees and forests to environmental and human well-being; Encourage social cohesion and inclusion. |

Severn Trent Community Fund (East Midlands, West Midlands, South West) Voluntary or community organisations in the Severn Trent Water region are eligible to apply to the £10 million Severn Trent Community Fund for funding to increase community wellbeing. This includes support for projects that help people to lead a healthier life and gain new skills; help to create better places to live in and use; and Projects that will help look after the natural environment, give people greater access to that environment or help look after water. |

The National Lottery Community Fund – Partnerships Grant (England) The National Lottery Community Fund distributes money raised by the National Lottery to support local communities. The Partnerships funding programme provides grants of over £20,001 for projects to increase collaborative working between organisations and can support many different types of partnership, including cross-sector partnerships, local place-based collaboration, local and national organisations working together around a theme. Projects must meet one of the following funding priorities: bring people together and build strong relationships in and across communities; improve the places and spaces that matter to communities; enable more people to fulfil their potential by working to address issues at the earliest possible stage. |

Woodroffe Benton Foundation (UK) The Woodroffe Benton Foundation is an independent grant making foundation for charities operating in the UK. It supports work that falls into the following categories: tackle poverty, provide care for the elderly, promote education and support environmental projects. Applications are welcome from UK charitable organisations for funding of between £500 and £2,500. The trustees prefer to contribute to core operating costs rather than a specific project. Applications are considered at quarterly meetings in January, April, July and October. |

Persimmon Community Champions (England, Scotland and Wales) Persimmon Homes Charity Foundation is providing grant funding of up to £1000 to registered charities, clubs, schools and other organisations which have already raised vital funds themselves towards projects to enhance their local community. The type of projects supported to date have included support for foodbanks; projects within schools; and sports projects; etc. |

Enovert Community Trust (UK) Enovert Community Trust (formerly Cory Environmental Trust in Britain) is an Environmental body which supports community and environmental projects. The Trust awards grants under the terms of the Landfill Communities Fund (LCF), providing funding to a broad range of projects that have a positive impact on local communities. The Trust is committed to supporting community and environmental projects across the UK. These include improving community halls, the creation of new play areas and skate parks, and restoring green spaces. Fundraising by applicants is looked upon favourably by the Trustees. Applicants will need to secure a 10% third party contribution which will be payable to Enovert Limited prior to the project commencing. |

Tesco - Stronger Starts (England, Scotland & Wales) Tesco Community Grants support local projects that benefit children, families, and communities, with a focus on food security, education, and play. Eligible applicants include schools, registered charities, and non-profit organisations. Projects that can apply for funding include breakfast clubs, food-growing areas, and after-school clubs, as well as community-based initiatives like food banks and healthy eating programs. Voting for these projects occurs through Tesco's blue token system in stores, with the charity Groundwork UK administering the funds. |

Sanctuary Group - Community Investment Fund (England & Wales) The Community Investment Fund offers up to £1,000 for projects which aim to make a difference to the lives of the residents and their communities. Applications for funding will fall in to the following categories: Employment, Education, Skills and Training; Health and Wellbeing; Community safety and infrastructure; Environment; Financial inclusion. Projects will have a community focus and be open to, and inclusive of all; and benefit a significant number of Sanctuary residents. |
