Suffolk Community Foundation - Digital Inclusion Fund (Suffolk)

The Suffolk Community Foundation exists to benefit disadvantaged communities by making grants to support relevant charitable or voluntary organisations, which make a difference to their local communities. Through the Digital Inclusion Fund the foundation provides grants of up to £25,000 to reduce digital poverty and its effects across target demographics within Suffolk. Helping residents to become digitally included will bring wider social benefits to enable people to be better informed, pay less for things, be more employable, feel more independent, be less isolated, and live happier, healthier, easier lives

The National Lottery Community Fund - The Digital Fund (UK)

The Digital Fund is a UK wide £15 million funding programme to support charities and community organisations. It is about helping the charity and voluntary sector to use digital tools and approaches to support people and communities to thrive. The fund aims to assist established charities to use digital technology to expand their impact and reach and to help new organisations with digital services to scale up.

Transform Foundation Facebook Grants (UK)

The Transform Foundation offers grants of £5000 to charities to spend on Facebook advertising. In addition, successful charities will receive an agency-managed service through a technology partner who will create content, deploy and optimise the adverts. The most successful organisations i.e. those who achieve the highest return on the initial investment, may receive a further grant of £10,000. Successful applicants will be expected to have a clear, measurable plan for deploying the funding to generate income or impact.

Transform Foundation Website Grant Programme (UK)

The Transform Foundation is a charity for charities that aims to turn digital into a powerful force for generating more money and impact for causes. The Foundation does this by giving tech grants, conducting research and bringing together expertise to move charities forward. The Website Grant programme covers the upfront costs of a new charity-specific website including strategy, design, development and training. Grants of £18,000 will directly pay for the entire upfront costs of designing and building a website through the Foundations technology partner, Raising IT.

Bethnal Green Ventures (UK)

Bethnal Green Ventures (BGV) is an accelerator programme, early-stage investor and support network for ambitious technology start-ups that are tackling problems in the areas of health, education, sustainability, civic engagement, tech to support young people, workertech. BGV's accelerator programme invests in and supports teams with new ideas through an intensive three-month programme. Supported teams may include software developers, designers or people with personal experience of something they want to change - from teachers and doctors, to patients and carers. BGV looks for early-stage ideas with the potential to help millions of people. Teams of between two and four people selected to be part of the BGV programme will benefit from a £60,000 investment in exchange for 7% equity. BGV also provides a three month programme of support and advice to help build, test and launch each start-up.

BT Community Fibre Partnership Grant (UK)

As part of BT's Community Fibre Partnerships programme eligible communities in the final 5% of the UK not covered by fibre broadband rollout plans can apply for a match-funded grant of up to £30,000 toward the cost of their new fibre infrastructure where that new infrastructure could also serve their local school. Community Partnerships must first register to find out if they are eligible to apply.

Essex Community Foundation Grants Programme (Essex)

Essex Community Foundation is one of 48 community foundations across the UK. It's aim is to provide funding that will directly address the needs of Essex's most vulnerable people and communities. Support generally falls under the broad heading of social welfare and applications must demonstrate a strong case for support, clear aims and objectives, wherever possible the organisation or project is user led and the grant will make a real difference to people within their community. Grants available for core and revenue costs, new or continuing projects, one-off initiatives and capital costs.

Community Foundations (UK)

Community Foundations support community and voluntary sector activity through grants to local groups and organisations. There are 48 Community Foundations of different sizes within the UK. Although all Community Foundations operate according to common criteria, they vary in terms of size and nature of grants available. Some Community Foundations will fund both organisations and individuals whilst other foundations will only fund organisations. Each community foundation covers a specific geographic area and will not normally be able to support work outside its area.
