The Royal Countryside Fund - Supporting Rural Communities Grant Programme (UK) This UK-wide grant programme supports transformative, community-led initiatives in rural areas. It aims to inspire change and encourage economic vibrancy by funding innovative solutions. The programme targets projects that align with themes such as keeping young people in the countryside, powering up rural communities, increasing environmental sustainability, and building emergency resilience. Isolated rural areas where alternative services are unavailable receive focused support. Projects must be community-led, demonstrating a clear understanding of local needs and showcasing characteristics like long-term vision, collaboration, and innovation. |

The Social Business Growth Fund (Wales) This Welsh Government fund, supported by the European Regional Development Fund, aims to support social businesses in Wales in growing their trading income and creating jobs in communities across Wales. The Fund can provide investments of up to £150,000 in West Wales and the Valleys and £125,000 in East Wales. Matched Funding of 40% is requires in West Wales and the Valleys and 50% in East Wales. The support available is a mix of grants (40%) and repayable assistance (60%). The over achievement of job creation targets will be rewarded by turning an element of the repayable assistance into a grant. |

The Prince's Countryside Fund (UK) The Prince's Countryside Fund gives grants to projects that have a positive impact upon rural areas. It is supported by a unique collaboration of businesses working together to secure a sustainable future for British agriculture and the wider rural economy. Funding of up to £25,000 is available for projects that improve service provision in rural areas; support rural enterprise; support farming businesses; and provide training opportunities for young people.
