| The Social Business Growth Fund (Wales) This Welsh Government fund, supported by the European Regional Development Fund, aims to support social businesses in Wales in growing their trading income and creating jobs in communities across Wales. The Fund can provide investments of up to £150,000 in West Wales and the Valleys and £125,000 in East Wales. Matched Funding of 40% is requires in West Wales and the Valleys and 50% in East Wales. The support available is a mix of grants (40%) and repayable assistance (60%). The over achievement of job creation targets will be rewarded by turning an element of the repayable assistance into a grant. |
