Tampon Tax Fund (UK)

The UK Government's Tampon Tax Fund distributes the VAT collected on women's sanitary products as grants to charitable organisations within the UK. A total of £15 million is available for projects that address violence against women or work with disadvantaged women and girls. Priority will be given to projects that provide services that are not currently widely available. Proposals from organisations that work to improve the lives of disadvantaged women and girls more generally are welcomed. All applicants must demonstrate how user involvement is built into their work and that users (or potential users) of a service or project are involved in an appropriate way at all stages.

Police & Crime Commissioner for West Yorkshire - Safer Communities Fund

The Safer Communities Fund has been launched to help voluntary, community groups, charities and partners make their communities safer and feel safer. Grants will be awarded in line with the priorities set out in the Police and Crime plan. The objectives of the fund are to put Proceeds of Crime money back into communities, to promote a simple, inclusive and transparent grant process and to provide grants which can make a difference and make communities safer and feel safer.

Police & Crime Commissioner for South Yorkshire

The Commissioners' Grant Scheme aims to help local community groups and charities tackling criminal issues in their area. The priorities of the fund include: to promote effective action around child sexual exploitation; address the vulnerability of individuals within the community protecting them from harm; take effective action in tackling crime and anti-social behaviour; target those that cause most harm in the community and intervene with others before they enter the criminal justice system; prioritise the crime and behaviours that cause the most harm in the community and achieve the right outcomes for victims of crime and anti-social behaviour. South Yorkshire Community Foundation (SYCF) also administers a small grants scheme on behalf of the PCC.

Police & Crime Commissioner for North Yorkshire - Community Fund

The Police & Crime Commissioner for North Yorkshire's Community Fund offers grants from £500 to £20,000 for new projects led by people based or operating solely or mainly within North Yorkshire and the City of York. The aim of the fund is to deliver positive change with applications most likely to be successful where they deliver positive change across one or more of three key areas: To make key community locations safer or feel safer; to provide services which aim to prevent people from becoming victims of crime or anti-social behaviour (ASB) or decrease the chance of people becoming repeat victims; and to provide services which aim to prevent people from becoming offenders or decrease the chance of people becoming repeat offenders.

Police & Crime Commissioner for Humberside - Crime Reduction Fund

The Police & Crime Commissioner for Humberside's Crime Reduction Fund aims to cut crime and make local communities safer by supporting projects and activities identified by local people and promoted by community and voluntary organisations. Community groups, charities, youth projects and organisations with an interest in crime reduction and public safety can bid for grants from the scheme. Examples include grants for CCTV equipment, security gates for alleyways to reduce burglaries and anti-social behaviour, and projects to divert young people at risk of committing crime into more positive activities. The PCC is particularly keen to support small grassroots groups.

Community Foundation for Calderdale Grant Programmes

The Community Foundation for Calderdale (CFFC) is an independent registered charity that aims to improve quality of life for the people of Calderdale, the foundation is dedicated to enabling not for profit organisations to increase their community, economic and environmental impact. The CFFC distributes a variety of grant and loan schemes details of which are available on their website. Funding amounts vary depending on the individual project, examples of organisations previously supported include: Halifax Street Angels; Calderdale Carers project; Noahs Ark Centre; High Five - Over 50's group.
