The Alpkit Foundation (UK) The Alpkit Foundation awards small grants to individuals, community groups, schools and other not-for-profit organisations across the UK to encourage people to get outdoors and have great experiences that otherwise couldn’t happen. The Foundation supports projects that support diversity and inclusion in the outdoors, as well as participation, education, conservation and protection of the natural environment, and health and wellbeing. |

The National Lottery Community Fund - Climate Action Fund: Energy & Climate (UK) The National Lottery Community Fund distributes money raised by the National Lottery to support local communities. The Climate Action Fund - Energy and Climate, provides funding of between £500,000 and £1.5 million over two to five for projects that encourage communities to use energy in an environmentally friendly way. |

Grow Back Greener Fund (London) The Greater London Authority distributes grants to support communities and civil society organisations. Through the Grow Back Greener Fund, the Authority provides grants of between £10,000 and £50,000 for projects across the capital that will make the city greener and more accessible to the local community, particularly those from disadvantaged or underrepresented groups such as BAME, lower income Londoners, and over-65. The Fund also aims to tackle climate change, to help reduce local flood risk, keep the city cool and provide shade, as well as providing habitat for wildlife, improving air quality, and storing carbon. |
