Foundation Scotland - EDF Renewables Corriemoillie Wind Farm Education & Training Fund (Highlands)

Foundation Scotland exists to benefit disadvantaged communities by making grants to support relevant charitable or voluntary organisations, which make a difference to their local communities. Through the EDF Renewables Corriemoillie Wind Farm Education & Training Fund (Highlands) the foundation provides grants of up to £3,000 to support a range of education and training activity that leads to the following outcomes: More individuals resident within the Fund Area are equipped with the skills and confidence required to enter into and retain employment in the key sectors the Fund supports; Micro and small businesses are able to create new job opportunities or retain existing jobs that may benefit individuals resident in the Fund Area; Micro and small businesses that employ individuals from the Fund Area have the necessary skills and confidence to grow and sustain their operations in order to secure their long-term future.

Enterprise Fellowships (Scotland)

The Royal Society of Edinburgh (RSE) Enterprise Fellowship Scheme provides support to researchers and innovators with promising technology-based business ideas. Awards consist of one year's salary, expert training in entrepreneurship and access to mentorship from business Fellows of the RSE and other successful business community entrepreneurs. Support for business ideas across a wide range of commercial sectors is available. Awards are specifically designed to support graduates and academic researchers.

Scottish Rural Development Programme - Knowledge Transfer and Innovation Fund (Scotland)

The Knowledge Transfer and Innovation Fund has two main aims: To promote skills development and knowledge transfer in the primary agricultural sector and to deliver on-the-ground improvements in agricultural competitiveness, resource efficiency, environmental performance and sustainability. Funding for skills development will be provided to organisations to deliver vocational training, coaching, workshops, courses and farm visits designed to develop skills and transfer knowledge. Funding for agricultural improvements will be granted to meet the running costs of operational groups made up of different individuals or organisations seeking to implement innovative projects with the aim of supporting partnership formation between farmers, advisers and businesses working on the ground.
