Local Funding
Adult Social Care Grants to Voluntary and Community Organisations
Essex County Council
Funding is available to locally based VCOs to deliver services or projects that support adults to enjoy healthy and active lives in the community.
Priority areas are:
Advice, information and advocacy
Income maximisation
Reducing social isolation by helping people to get out and about
Providing support to people at home
Providing personal services
Learning, education and self development opportunities
Promoting volunteering opportunities
It is intended that the Grants will help deliver the outcomes of the Green Paper on the future of Adult Social Care (Independence, well-being and Choice).

Grants up to £10,000 for local organisations
Grants up to £1,000 for local organisations
