The Buckinghamshire Foundation
The Buckinghamshire Foundation is an independent registered charity dedicated to promoting charitable activity in the County. The Buckinghamshire Foundation specialises in making awards to groups at grass roots level who otherwise might not be able to access support.
The funds available through the Community Foundation are:
The Buckinghamshire Foundation Small Grants - Grants of up to £500 (£1000 in specific cases) for general voluntary and community groups operating within Buckinghamshire excluding Milton Keynes.
European Social Fund Global Grants criteria - Grants of up to £8000 for voluntary and community groups working to promote social inclusion and the integration of excluded groups into the labour market. All projects should have progression towards the labour market as a key theme.
The Women's Fund - An anonymous donor has given The Buckinghamshire Foundation £10,000 per annum for 2003 and 2004 to be used specifically on women's issues within Buckinghamshire.
LPSA Target 11- Small grants of up to £2000 aimed at developing community and voluntary activities and increasing community participation in four geographic target areas:
• Burnham Parish
• Mandeville and Southcourt
• Marsh and Micklefield
• Pond Park
Local Network Fund (LNF) for Children and Young People - Grants of between £250 and £7000 for projects specifically aimed at children and young people. Applications for £12,000 over two years may also be considered.
Clive Sherling Trust (available under the Small Grants scheme) - Specifically aimed at supporting sporting projects.
Edward VII Fund (available under the Small Grants scheme) - Specifically aimed at supporting groups and organisations that tackle medically related problems
