Highland Opportunity Limited offers interest-free loans to businesses to increase working capital or purchase equipment in order to create or safeguard employment in the Highland Council area of Scotland. Additional private sector investment is required to qualify for the loan but there is no minimum amount.

Clients are encouraged to introduce "family friendly" working policies as part of the application process.

Small and Medium sized businesses in the Highland Council area.

Loans are available from £1,000 - £50,000.

Loans from £1,000 to £10,000 are unsecured; between £10,000 and £20,000 security may be required; from £20,000 to £50,000 security will be required. Security will be taken on a business asset, not the client's home.
