Local Funding

2014 marks the centenary of the outbreak of the Great War. To commemorate this, the leader of the Council has announced a small grants fund for Your Call groups wishing to remember some of the darkest days of our History.

Community groups that have taken part in Your Call events can apply to the fund. For example they may have taken part in a community clean up or formed a winter squad. Any group that has taken part in at least three of these events from April 2013 – April 2014 will be eligible to apply for a grant of up to £200 to host their own commemorative events.
