Up to £10,000 Available for Vegan-Led Initiatives (UK & Worldwide)

The Vegan Society has announced its latest round of grant funding, offering financial support to vegan-led projects around the world.

Open to small to medium-sized non-profit organisations and individuals running non-profit initiatives, the scheme welcomes applications from anywhere globally, with particular interest in proposals from economically developing countries. Applicants must be vegan, and priority will be given to groups from marginalised communities, including people of colour, LGBTQ+ individuals, and others underrepresented in the movement.

Grants typically range from £1,000 to £5,000, with some awards potentially reaching up to £10,000. Funding is available for four key categories of work:

  • Community outreach such as festivals and events aimed at non-vegan audiences.
  • Agricultural transition projects helping farmers move from animal agriculture to sustainable, plant-based land use.
  • Health education initiatives providing vegan nutrition guidance to healthcare professionals.
  • Policy engagement that works with decision-makers to influence local environmental policies in favour of vegan and sustainable approaches.

The deadline for applications is 1 September 2025.
