Grant News
Grants of £20,000 to £30,000 are available for charities supporting Black and Global Majority communities across the UK.
The African Health Policy Network (AHPN) Innovate and Sustain Fund aims to support Black and Global Majority-led organisations working to holistically improve the health and wellbeing of their communities.
Projects should aim to create meaningful impact by strengthening organisations, shaping policies, or empowering communities. This includes shifting beliefs, fostering learning, challenging norms, ensuring equitable resource distribution, building alliances, and enhancing interactions across all levels.
AHPN is particularly interested in initiatives that challenge structural and systemic racism, as well as practices and behaviours.
Applications are encouraged from organisations trusted in the communities they work with, whether they are working in the fields of health equality, racial justice, migration/detention, creative arts, education, LGBTQ+ rights, criminal justice, gender justice, science, technology or employment, addiction needs, or mental health.
Approximately eight grants will be awarded.
The application process has two stages. Stage one applications are due on 23rd December 2024. However, if enough applications are received, the fund may close early.
