Performing arts organisations can apply for grants of up to £150,000 to improve their training and education facilities.

The funding, made available through the Wolfson Foundation, will award grants towards the building or refurbishment of these facilities and occasionally towards the purchase of related specialist equipment. 

Projects should aim to have one or more of the following additional aims:

• Better engagement with audiences 
• Increased numbers of participants 
• Improved future sustainability of the organisation 
• Conservation of architectural heritage

Registered charities and local authorities across the UK are eligible to apply.

If there is a high level of demand for the programme, the Foundation will prioritise applications from training organisations or large-to-mid scale venues, and projects that concern dedicated facilities for education.

Please note that community and multi-arts centres are unlikely to be eligible for funding through this programme.

Match funding is required for projects over £50,000.

There is a two-stage application process. The deadline for stage one applications is the 5th January 2025. Organisations successful at this stage will have until the 1st March 2025 to submit their full application.
