£200,000 Energy Grants for Third Sector Organisations (Liverpool)
Liverpool City Council has launched a £200,000 energy grant initiative to support non-profit third-sector organisations facing increased energy costs this winter.
The grant is aimed at groups operating a ‘community hub’—a building or space offering activities or services to the local community.
Eligible organisations can apply for a one-off grant of £500.
To qualify, applicants must:
- demonstrate a 50% rise or more in gas and/or electricity bills since 2021
- have an annual income of under £1 million
The Energy Grant for Third Sector Organisations is funded through the government's Household Support Fund.
The scheme will remain open until March 2025 or until all funds are allocated.
