Electronic Music Award Launched (UK)

Help Musicians, in partnership with DJ Mag, has announced the Electronic Music Award, a 12-month career accelerator program designed to support electronic music creators, including producers, DJs, and musicians. Aimed at those lacking financial resources to pursue significant career opportunities, the initiative seeks to help artists take the next step in the competitive electronic music industry.

The award targets electronic musicians ready to advance, whether they are producers with momentum for a debut EP or established DJs transitioning into production. Full eligibility criteria and selection details are available on the Help Musicians website.

Successful applicants will receive a robust support package, including up to £3,000 in funding for a personal music project, six hours of one-on-one business advice from industry experts, and an eight-session online music business course tailored to electronic music. Additional benefits include online meetups with peers and industry guests, expenses-covered attendance at a one-day mixer event in London, optional monthly peer drop-in sessions, and a healthy practice session by BAPAM.

A select number of awardees can also opt into an exclusive opportunity with DJ Mag for project platforming, which includes one-on-one discussions with staff, networking guidance, and potential editorial coverage, at DJ Mag’s discretion. DJ Mag, a global multimedia brand since 1991, reaches 96 million monthly and has won ‘Best Music Magazine’ at the International Dance Music Awards 17 times.

Applications for the Electronic Music Award open on Monday, 4 August 2025, and close on Friday, 29 August 2025.
