Landowners and others who manage woodlands infected by specific pests and diseases can apply for funding through the Forestry Commission's Tree health pilot scheme.

The aim of the scheme is to test different ways of slowing the spread of pests and diseases affecting trees in England. It expands on support already available through the Countryside Stewardship woodland tree health grant.

To be able to partcipate the woodland needs to be located in

  • North West England
  • West Midlands
  • South East England
  • London

The level of funding available depends on the species of trees, the type of pests and diseases and the type of work carried out, etc.

There is no application deadline specified.
