Funding for Grassroots Campaigners Tackling Social Injustice (Scotland)

Grants of up to £10,000 are available to support Scottish registered charities, CICs, and incorporated bodies in addressing social injustices.

Inspiring Scotland, in partnership with Changing Ideas, is delivering a Call for Campaign Ideas to fund small-scale or grassroots campaigning projects that aim to tackle issues, such as housing injustice, health inequalities, environmental harm, or discrimination.

The funding is intended for organisations already embedded in their communities and working directly with people affected by inequality. It will support short-term, focused projects that will help build the foundations for larger campaigns over the next 12 months.

This could include:

  • scoping research to understand and validate key issues (for example environment
  • testing, legal advice, etc)
  • testing messaging or tactics to refine campaign approaches
  • convening to build momentum, alignment, or collaboration
  • piloting ideas to explore new directions or demonstrate potential
  • policy influencing
  • advocacy
  • direct action
  • creative social media
  • digital campaigning

Partnership applications are welcome.

Applications must be submitted by 5pm on 21 November 2025.
