Grants of up to £10,000 Available to Support DisadvantagedYoung People (London)

Charities and not for profit organisations working to improve the lives of disadvantaged and excluded young people (aged 11 – 18) in London can apply for grants ranging from £5,000 to £10,000 through the Shaftesbury Young People (SYP) Trust.

Eligible organisations include constituted not-for-profits such as registered charities, Community Interest Companies (CICs), associations, societies, and exempt charities, particularly those with an annual income up to £400,000.

SYP Trust prioritises initiatives that:

  • Facilitate access to learning and employment, especially for those disengaged or excluded from compulsory education, including refugees, individuals with disabilities, school avoiders, and young people from traveller communities.
  • Promote healthy lifestyles, focusing on medium to long-term mental health support tailored to individual needs.
  • Empower youth voices, by developing leadership skills and enabling creative projects that allow young people to express their views on key issues to decision-makers and communities. SYP Trust+1SYP Trust+1
