The Southall Trust is offering grants of between £1,000 and £5,000 to UK registered charities working in social action, environmental action and sustainability, peace and reconciliation, or Quaker work and witness.
The Trust is a Quaker-based grant-making family charitable trust which is committed to creating a more just, peaceful and collaborative society.
Priority is given to organisations that:
- demonstrate how the funding will make a meaningful and measurable contribution to change
- are involved in identifying and/or tackling the root causes of the issues that the organisation has been established to address
- promote social justice, inclusion, and diversity
- challenge structural inequalities and injustice
- demonstrate practices that reflect a commitment to redistributing power
- show support from and engagement with the communities they serve
Funding can support core costs, capital expenditure and charitable activities. Multi-year funding of up to three years may be considered for organisations that have previously received funding.
To be eligible, organisations must have an annual income of less than £1 million.
The application deadline is 11 September 2026. However, the fund may close early if oversubscribed. Early applications are advised.
