London Catalyst has opened its Main Grants Programme to applications from small registered charities working to improve the health and wellbeing of adults in London.
The programme supports work addressing factors that can affect people’s health, including poverty, housing problems, barriers to education and employment, discrimination and social isolation.
London Catalyst is an independent grant-making charity that supports work to reduce poverty, disability and ill health and improve the health and wellbeing of Londoners.
Grants are available to registered charities with an annual income of £500,000 or less. Organisations must be based and operating in London, within the M25, and their main beneficiaries must be adults aged 18 and over.
Funding can be used for unrestricted or core costs, as well as new and existing projects. Grants can run for between one and three years, with up to £10,000 available per year. Multi-year applications involve a two-stage application process.
The programme has an annual budget of £181,000 for 2026.
Key highlights include:
• applicants must be registered charities;
• annual income must be £500,000 or less;
• organisations must be based and operating in London, within the M25;
• the main beneficiaries must be adults aged 18 and over; and
• Community Interest Companies (CICs), schools, colleges, universities, statutory bodies and individuals are not eligible.
Applications must be submitted by 5pm on 30 September 2026. Applicants are expected to receive a decision by 17 December 2026.
