Fund to Support Women at Risk of Rough Sleeping (London)

The Greater London Authority has opened the Mayor’s Specialist Rough Sleeping Fund, offering funding of up to £1.2 million per year for three years to improve support for people at risk of, or experiencing, rough sleeping in London. The programme forms part of the Mayor’s work to end rough sleeping in London by 2030.

The fund will support innovative approaches providing specialist support and emergency accommodation for women and people with the protected characteristic of gender reassignment. The aim is to prevent rough sleeping and create sustainable routes out of homelessness for people whose needs are not always met by mainstream services.

Eligible applicants include local authorities, public and private sector organisations, registered providers, developers and non-profit organisations. Funded services should be inclusive, trauma-informed and responsive to the particular barriers faced by the target groups.

Partnership applications are encouraged.

The application deadline is 9 November 2026.
