Grants of up to £3,000 Available to Support Health Initiatives within Black Heritage Communities (London)

Grants of up to £3,000 are available to Black-led and Black-community-rooted organisations and grassroots groups in London through the Skin Like Mine Community Activate Fund.

The fund is delivered by One Voice Network as part of the London HIV Prevention Programme. It will award ten grants to support community-led activities that improve health and wellbeing, raise HIV awareness and encourage access to testing and prevention services.

Activities do not need to focus solely on HIV. One Voice welcome broader approaches that address health, wellbeing and sexual health.

Projects can use sport, arts, culture, faith activities and community events to encourage conversations about health and sexual wellbeing. Applicants do not need previous experience of HIV or sexual health work. One Voice Network can provide guidance and mentoring.

Applications are open to registered charities, community interest companies, constituted and unconstituted groups, and other not-for-profit initiatives. Projects must be completed by May 2027.

Key points

  • Applicants must have annual income of no more than £250,000.
  • Activities must benefit Black Heritage communities.
  • Applicants must be based in or deliver activities within London's 32 boroughs.
  • Safeguarding arrangements and appropriate insurance are required.

Applications close at 6pm on 27 November 2026. An online information session will take place on 3 November 2026.
