The City of London Corporation is accepting applications to its Stronger Communities Fund, supporting projects that strengthen neighbourhoods and improve community health and wellbeing. The Corporation provides local government and community services across the Square Mile and manages housing estates across London.
The Stronger Communities Fund is part of the City of London Corporation Central Grants programme which aims to help more people to become involved in their local neighbourhood, and encourage a broader understanding of the diverse needs of these communities.
The programme has been separated into the following sub-themes:
- Developing stronger neighbourhoods and communities
- Promoting community health and wellbeing
Two levels of funding are available:
- Main Grants of up to £10,000. Grants of up to £20,000 will be considered in exceptional circumstances.
- Small Grants of between £500 and £3,000.
Charities, CIC’s, CIO’s and voluntary organisations can apply at any time. Decisions normally take eight weeks for Small Grants and 12 weeks for Main Grants.
