Grant News
Local music and dementia groups, including choirs, can apply for funding to deliver music activities for people living with dementia and their carers.
The Power of Music Fund, a collaboration between Music for All and the National Academy for Social Prescribing (NASP), supports projects that use the power of music to improve the well-being of people with dementia from underrepresented communities, including racially minoritised groups.
Grants of up to £2,000 are available to cover costs associated with rehearsals and performances, including transport for participants, venue hire, instruments, equipment, music, musicians and workshop leaders.
In addition, successful applicants will receive support through training, peer support, resources, development opportunities, and evaluation through NASP’s national music and dementia network.
The deadline for applications is 8am on the 16th June 2025.
