Grant News
London charities and community groups with little or no trading income can now apply for up to £19,000 in flexible funding and hands-on support to build earned income and long-term resilience.
The 18-month London Growth & Resilience Programme, run by the School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE) and partners, offers a Set Up Grant (£4,000–£7,000) to pilot new products or services, followed by a Match Trading™ Grant of up to £12,000 that matches growth in trading income—paid quarterly as sales increase.
Eligible organisations must be London-based, have at least £50,000 annual income, three years of operations, and less than 20% of income from trading. The programme actively encourages applications from groups led by Black and racially minoritised communities, D/deaf and disabled people, women, LGBTQ+ people, and those in economically disadvantaged areas.
Participants also receive 10 tailored learning days, one-to-one mentoring, expert panels, and buyer networking events. By the end, they’ll have a tested trading offer, clear sales strategy, stronger finances, and new market connections.
Sixty organisations will be selected across three cohorts. The deadline to apply is midday on Thursday, 18 December 2025. Interested groups must first register their interest to receive guidance and the application form. Optional info sessions are on 12 November and 1 December 2025.
The programme is funded by the City Bridge Foundation and delivered with AVOCADO Foundation, Inclusion Unlimited, Consortium, and Power to Change.
