Funding Available for Charities Supporting Families Through Cost of Living Crisis (UK)

The Arnold Clark Community Fund, run by the UK’s largest independent car retailer, has reopened applications to its Cost of Living Support Fund, making funding once again available to eligible organisations across Great Britain.

The fund is designed to help charities and community groups responding to the ongoing cost-of-living pressures affecting individuals and families. Priority is given to organisations delivering frontline support, including food provision, housing and homelessness services, debt advice, poverty relief, and other essential community assistance.

Applications are open to UK-based voluntary and community organisations, including registered charities, community interest companies, social enterprises and charitable incorporated organisations. To be eligible, applicants must operate solely within the UK and be located within a 50-mile radius of an Arnold Clark branch.

Successful organisations can apply for grants of up to £2,500 to support activities or projects that directly benefit people experiencing financial hardship. Funding decisions are made on a rolling basis, with applications reviewed monthly, and there is no fixed closing date while the fund remains open.

To apply, organisations must first check they meet the eligibility criteria.

Once eligibility is confirmed, applicants must complete the online application form available on the Arnold Clark Community Fund website. The form asks for details about the organisation, its activities, and how the requested funding will be used to support those in need.
