Grants of up to £500 are available to support not-for-profit organisations, venues, and small private enterprises in holding local community events and activities that enable older people in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Bath, North East Somerset and North Somerset to celebrate the Coronation of His Majesty the King throughout May 2023.

This might include an event such as a gathering in a village or church hall, a celebration in a small independent café, a storytelling event, or intergenerational activities that strengthen relationships between younger and older neighbours.

Applications are particularly encouraged for events that are part of the Coronation Big Lunch which is taking place on the Coronation Weekend.

The funding is made available by the St Monica Trust’s Coronation Fund which closes to applications on the 31st March 2023.
