Grant News
Grants of up to £4,000 are available to registered charities, community and voluntary organisations, CICs, parish councils and other not-for-profit organisations for community projects that help to build stronger communities and improve the lives of disadvantaged people across the South West of England.
The funding can be used to support projects that:
- take place in areas of multiple deprivation or rural isolation where people lack access to local services
- help build stronger communities – enabling people to work together and create solutions to local challenges
- help people take steps to manage or avoid debt and build their financial capability. This can include activities that raises awareness and take up of utility affordability support such as the Wessex Water schemes
Applications from groups led by diverse and ethnically minoritised communities are particularly welcome.
Priority will be given to applicants whose annual income has been less than £500,000 for the last three years.
The funding is made available through the Wessex Water Community Fund, which is delivered by the Quartet, Somerset, Dorset, and Wiltshire Community Foundations.
Applications are open until the 20th October 2025.
