Funding to Support Third Sector Organisations (Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole)

Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council is making funding available to support the work of charities, community and voluntary organisations, community interest companies, and social enterprises in its area.

Through the BCP Thriving Communities Funding programme, organisations can apply for either:

  • Volunteering & Social Action grants of up to £5,000 to support volunteering and/or social action projects and activities that improve the lives of local people, or
  • Community Buildings grants of up to £3,000 to support small capital improvements for community buildings that provide facilities for local community-led groups and activities. This includes community centres, hubs or village halls

The programme, which is administered by the Dorset Community Foundation, will distribute funding received by BCP Council via the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

The closing date for applications is midday on the 29th March 2024. Successful grants will be awarded by the end of April 2024.
