New Funding Opportunities to Support Community Climate Action Initiatives (Bristol)
Bristol Climate and Nature Partnership has launched two new funding programmes to support more communities to be involved in local climate and nature action.
The Community Climate Action Project Learning and Mentoring Programme:
- Provides support for community organisations to develop their own community climate action plan
- The programme provides a £6,750 bursary to six organisations, a series of free workshops, peer mentoring and resources
- The closing date for applications is the 27th March 2024
The Transforming Energy Together Programme:
- Provides support for three organisations to design and secure funding for local community-led projects that aim to reduce energy use in homes and neighbourhoods, or generate clean energy locally
- Provides up to £100,000 in funding, peer learning, technical support, community engagement support, data and resources
- The closing date for expressions of interest is the 25th March 2024
