£3 Million Funding Boost to Support Racial Equity Work (UK)

The Baring Foundation has announced £3 million in funding over the next five years to support work addressing racial injustice across its programmes.

This includes:

  • Arts Programme: £1 million will be available to support Global Majority-led arts organisations developing creative work with people with mental health problems.
  • Strengthening Civil Society (Use of the Law for Social Change) programme: £2 million to support organisations using legal action to address racial injustice in the UK criminal justice system.

Funding is typically open to charities and other not-for-profit organisations, with a focus on Global Majority-led and anti-racist groups.

Interested applicants should check the Foundation’s website for future funding rounds and eligibility criteria.
