Charities, community groups and social enterprises working in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly can apply for funding to support people who are homeless or at risk of rough sleeping. The Single Homeless and Rough Sleeping Fund, delivered by Cornwall Community Foundation and funded by Cornwall Council, offers grants of £1,000 to £10,000 for individual organisations and up to £30,000 for partnership projects.
The fund supports practical, frontline activities that prevent or reduce homelessness among single people. This includes early intervention work, outreach and advice services, and tailored support for individuals with complex needs. Projects that help people move towards stable, long-term housing or take a collaborative, multi-agency approach are particularly encouraged.
Previously supported work has included targeted outreach to engage rough sleepers who are not accessing services, intensive one-to-one support for individuals facing multiple disadvantages, and partnership initiatives that coordinate housing, health, and wellbeing support.
A total of around £300,000 is available through the programme. Applications are open to voluntary, community and charitable organisations operating locally.
The closing date for applications is 31 March 2026, with funding decisions expected in May 2026.
