Grants of between £400 and £1,600 are available for grassroots community groups and organisations to support a broad range of activities that contribute towards transforming communities and improving lives across the UK.

The funding is available through the Asda Foundation’s Empowering Local Communities Fund to support projects and activities that address local issues which are important to a community and which benefit local people.

This can include:

• Funding for the basic essentials to address an immediate need and/or situation
• Funding to bring people together, encouraging community connections.
• Funding for projects to transform or improve spaces or activities,
• Funding to bring people together for a festive celebration, who otherwise would not be able to celebrate

Applications should be made through each local Asda store’s Community Champion by the 3rd November 2023.
