Grant News
The Asda Foundation has announced that its Young Futures Fund has opened for applications. A total of £500,000 is available to support the mental health and wellbeing of young people aged 13 to 21 and create positive life opportunities across the UK.
Community groups and charities who are looking to deliver activities for teenagers and young people can apply for grants ranging from £500 to £1,000 to
- provide services supporting, educating, and empowering young people;
- facilitate peer connections;
- offer rehabilitation, recovery, and shelter services;
- and promote physical health and wellbeing.
Examples include safe spaces for youth gatherings and educational workshops on critical issues like knife crime.
Charities and not-for-profit organisations with an annual income below £250,000, already serving the 13-21 age group can apply. Parent-Teacher Associations (PTAs) with separate bank accounts are also eligible, provided the funding supports extracurricular activities.
The closing date for applications is 12 noon on the 13th March 2025, or earlier if the total budget is allocated. Applicants should ensure their projects are completed by September 2025.
To apply, organisations must complete an eligibility check and, upon confirmation, submit their application through the Asda Foundation's Grant Management System. Detailed application guidelines and criteria are available on the Asda Foundation's website (link below).
