The Arnold Clark Community Fund, run by the UK’s largest independent car retailer, has reopened for applications from projects supporting education, youth groups and clubs, community improvement and sustainability.
The fund offers grants of up to £2,500 and can support a range of activities, including:
- Schools and education: providing additional resources for PTAs, school or education fairs and galas, help with the cost of school uniforms, and additional educational or extracurricular resources.
- Environmental projects: supporting community clean-ups, recycling programmes, urban gardening and other environmentally friendly initiatives.
- Youth groups, clubs and sports teams: supporting organisations such as Brownies, Scouts, Guides, Sea Cadets, Cubs, amateur sports teams, dance groups and gymnastics clubs. Funding can help cover community trips, club costs, materials, venue hire and transport.
- Community projects: supporting projects such as the installation or replacement of defibrillators, play parks, community gardens, galas and other local events.
Applications are open to UK-based voluntary and community organisations, including registered charities, community interest companies, social enterprises and charitable incorporated organisations.
To be eligible, organisations must operate solely within the UK and be based within a 50-mile radius of an Arnold Clark branch.
Organisations should first check that they meet the eligibility criteria. Eligible applicants can then complete the online application form on the Arnold Clark Community Fund website.
The application form asks for information about the organisation, its activities and how the requested funding will be used to support people or communities in need.
The closing date for applications is 30 September 2026.
